How Cross International is making an impact
Long-term economic transformation often requires behavioral transformation. In our work, we’ve found that a great motivator for change is the Gospel. The Christ-centered approach of our overseas mission partners means the poor are ministered to as human beings created in God’s image and in need of material as well as spiritual nourishment. When this spiritual need is met, individuals are motivated to look beyond their own immediate struggles and to look out for the best interests of their families, neighbors and communities. In this culture of faith, the poor and marginalized are lifted up and empowered.
