As we learn about closures, quarantines, job status, and economic impact, it can be easy to feel paralyzed by those challenges. Our prayer for everyone is that we choose to respond in a way that is grounded in peace over anxiety, and calmness over worry. We can be living examples of God’s blessed assurance to our family, our neighbors, and friends. And when others ask why we feel so hopeful, we can let them know it’s because of the love of a God that is certain even in the hardest of times.
Of course, we want to make wise decisions, and take necessary, thoughtful precautions as we live through this season that will eventually end. Like we hear in David’s song, “…rejoicing comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5 NIV). Morning will come, dear friends!
