Where It Began

January 15, 2001

Cross International was founded as a “common table” — uniting believers across denominations to serve the world’s poorest with one heart.

Haiti became the ministry’s first base and remains foundational to our work today.

2001

Cross International is founded; first programs launch in Haiti supporting Christian schools and an orphanage.

2001

First Gifts-In-Kind humanitarian shipment is sent, establishing a core channel for large-scale aid delivery.

2004–2005

Disaster relief expands globally, including response to the Sri Lanka tsunami and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

2010

Rapid response to the Haiti earthquake provides emergency aid, teams on the ground, and Gospel hope to devastated communities.

2014–2016

Ministry expands beyond the Caribbean into Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America.

2016

Hurricane Matthew response delivers 6.5 million meals to families in southern Haiti.

2018–2021

Reach25 vision launches; COVID-19 and Central America hurricane relief efforts provide food and emergency supplies.

2022

Ukraine response supports refugees and displaced families with shelters, home repairs, and relief aid.

2025

Cross International enters a new era of leadership and clarity, strengthening its identity and global partnerships.
