- Funding is stretched at a time when needs are growing. A combination of economic strain, cultural turmoil, and shifts in donor focus are making it harder to meet growing needs.
- Critical government aid has been eliminated — putting many vulnerable lives at risk.
- Needs are increasing even as funding dries up.
