In the battle for forgotten children, Cross International is fighting back
Nicaragua was one of the fastest-growing economies in Central America until political unrest and violence exploded in April 2018. Today, over half of the population lives in extreme poverty, without access to clean water, electricity, education and medical care.
U.S. and Guatemala Work Together
While U.S. and Guatemalan leaders work together to provide temporary shelter for displaced survivors of the Fuego Volcano eruption, Cross International and its ministry partners have already moved forward with a permanent resettlement plan for 200 families. Search for Volcano victims continues
The death toll from Guatemala’s Fuego volcano is at 112 and counting as the search continues for nearly 200 people who have still not been found.
